What is Qorus?

Qorus is a digital card that works in both directions. You share your link or QR code, the person you meet receives your details, and they can share their details with you at the same time. Their information is saved in your contact catalog so you can find it later. Your profile, contact tools, and booking features are all included free.

How do I create an account?

Download Qorus and sign up. There is no invitation or sales call, and you do not need to provide payment information or make a purchase.

Yes. Qorus is currently completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, paid plans, fees, paid features, upgrades, or in-app purchases.

What goes on my card?

Your Qorus card is available through your own link and can include your profile information, themes, branding, and links. It also includes QR options for sharing and collecting contact details, a contact catalog, and booking features.

What does "works in both directions" mean?

One scan does two things. The person you meet receives your card, and they can share their information with you at the same time. Their details are saved in your catalog, where you can tag them, search for them, and find them again later. Neither person has to type the other person's information manually.

How does the voice note feature work?

You press record and say who you just met. The audio is sent securely to our servers and then to a speech-recognition provider, which returns text. The text is processed by a model running inside Amazon Web Services to identify the contact details you provided. Only those contact details are saved and attached to the contact. You can review, edit, or delete them. The recording itself is not retained.

Can people book through my card?

Yes. People can use your Qorus card to schedule a booking with you. Qorus provides scheduling only and does not accept or process payments.

Are all Qorus features currently free?

Yes. The Qorus app and its currently available features are free to use. There are no paid tiers, premium plans, subscriptions, or upgrades available for purchase.

Do I need to enter payment information?

No. Qorus does not require payment information to create an account or use the app.

Is my data secure?

Information sent between you and Qorus is encrypted in transit, and it is encrypted at rest in our databases and file storage. Access inside the company is limited to people who need the information to perform their jobs.

Where is my data stored?

Your information is stored in the United States. Our databases and file storage are located in United States regions. If you live outside the United States, your information is transferred to the United States and is subject to United States law.

Which countries is Qorus available in?

Qorus is available in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Qorus is not offered to people in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom.

Is anything I record used to train AI?

No. The companies that transcribe voice notes and identify contact details are not permitted to use the information we send them to train or fine-tune any model. The speech-recognition provider is configured for zero data retention and does not keep a copy of the recording.

Who owns the contacts in my catalog?

You do. Your catalog, the notes and transcripts attached to it, and the bookings your clients make are yours. We process that information only to provide the Service for you and follow your instructions.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Write to legal@qorus.io from the email address associated with your account and ask for a copy of your data.

How do I delete my account?

You may delete your account at any time by selecting Account Settings → Delete Account in the Qorus application. You may also write to legal@qorus.io or support@qorus.io from the email address associated with your account if you need assistance. Assisted deletion requests are completed within 24 to 48 business hours.
